Bert Seabourn's Mixed Media and Acrylic NEW CLASSES BEGIN JUNE 6!

An opportunity to learn and paint with Oklahoma's most acclaimed artist, Bert Seabourn, begins June 6 and continues for 6 weeks at City Arts Center, Oklahoma City. The classes are Mixed Media for Intermediate/Advanced students on Tuesday evenings from 7-9 p.m., and Acrylic for Intermediate/Advanced on Wednesdays from 7-9 p.m. Seabourn specializes in individualized instruction.
The Mixed Media class will use a wide variety of materials including acrylics, watercolors, found objects and various papers. Learn to transfer photographs using Xerox copies and discover how the elements and principles of design are used in collage. The class will be conducted with step-by-step demonstrations to approach the finished painting, using collage in original and refreshing ways.
The Acrylic class will include demonstrations in drawing and painting, with an introduction to various approaches and techniques used in acrylic painting. Students receive individual instruction in various phases of painting and drawing including design, color, line, and much more.

Bert Seabourn's Acrylic Painting Class at City Arts Center, Oklahoma City, is shown at work on their latest paintings. This was the last class session for the current group; the next class starts May 23. Enrollment is open for this Mixed Media class.
